Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Running Program include?

  1. The first step in completing the Acceleration Sports Training Program is to complete a strength, flexibility and gait evaluation with a facility trainer. This test evaluates every major muscle in your body to assess your strengths and weaknesses.
  2. Once an evaluation has been completed and test results assessed, a trainer will formulate a training Program for you. Each athlete's training will include work with the Generation II Super Running Treadmill, plyometrics and strength training. Our patented Resistance Cords can be incorporated into your training as needed for your specific sport.
How many levels of training do you offer for the Running Program?

Each Program includes its own specific components and levels. For example, the running Acceleration Program has five levels and the hockey Acceleration Program has three levels. Each level of training involves greater intensity. Athletes can continue making gains in their performance by either completing the levels in succession or coming back after the sport season to complete the next levels.

What does the Hockey Program include?

  1. The first step in completing the Acceleration Hockey Program is to complete a strength, flexibility and gait evaluation with a facility trainer. This test evaluates every major muscle in your body to assess your strengths and weaknesses.

How does this Program compare to other conditioning programs?

The Acceleration Programs are unique; there are no equivalent programs in the world. We use patented equipment designed for and used exclusively by our licensed facilities. The Programs and protocols are scientifically designed and tested with input from exercise physiologists, orthopedic surgeons, athletic trainers, physical and occupational therapists and other professionals. When followed according to these unique protocol designs, the Acceleration Programs are guaranteed to improve an athlete's performance.

How is the Acceleration Program different than what I can get from camps?

Camps provide athletes with specific skills related to a particular sport. Our Programs focus on building speed, strength, quickness, jumping ability and overall conditioning. Simply put, our Programs will make you a better athlete!

Who is this Program for?

The Acceleration Programs are for athletes of all ages (starting at age 9-10 years old depending on physical maturity). The Programs are individually modified for each athlete's abilities, so whether you are in junior high, high school, college, the professional leagues or a recreational athlete, you're sure to improve speed, strength, self-confidence and overall athletic performance. Our goal is to help every participant become a better athlete no matter what level they are at when they start the Program.

When should I begin the Acceleration Program to prepare for my sport?

We recommend that athletes start the Program 8-10 weeks prior to the start of the sport season to allow time for rest before the sport begins. To achieve maximal gains, athletes must allow for 10-14 days of rest prior to season training. Best results are achieved when the training is not interrupted.
